My predictions for today were a little off. The skies did clear near the middle of the day which included some high cirrus clouds. I also thought that the stationary front was going to be around longer than it was, but it had dissipated by the afternoon. I also did not predict that there was going to be any precipiation.

Todays conditions started out this morning with cloudy skies covered 100% with altostratus. Temperatures throughout the day were in the upper thirtys and lower forties. The day started with a wind from the southwest which then switched direction to the east and eventually northeast in the mid to late afternoon. The wind shifting direction was a sure sign that there was going to be precipitation. Snow started falling very close to midnight tonight.

For tomorrow expect some light snow throughout the early am. With the high pressure system we are in staying around i expect there to be clearer skies in the afternoon when the weather system bringing in the snow moves out. Temperatures should be the same, as i dont believe there will be a cold air mass moving in anytime soon.
